Boxing often faces criticism, but the members of Rose City Boxing have a clear understanding of its value. Zaedyn Champlain, in particular, shares that without boxing, he struggles to envision where he would be without it. Having developed a deep passion for the sport, Zaedyn and his peers are now committed to pursuing it as a career, recognizing the profound impact it has on their lives. Boxing has made a significant impact on these teenagers. Wakeil Hendrickson, the owner of this gym emphasizes that the sport plays a crucial role in improving their mental health, boosting self-awareness, and encouraging teenagers to have a healthier lifestyle. Moreover, boxing helps students develop strong discipline and structure in their lives, contributing to their overall personal growth.
