Malerba’s Farm, one of Connecticut’s many locally owned small businesses, opened in Norwich in 1922. Malerba’s is open for three out of the four seasons every year, selling flowers and delicious vegetables. “Whether it’s plants that people are looking for, for their gardens in the early spring or it’s their favorite produce that they’re waiting for during the summer” says Mary Malerba, part time employee and daughter of the owner.
Whether you are stopping by to see some friends or you’re ready for your favorite produce, Malerba’s is a destination worth visiting. “I think the thing that I hear the most from our customers is that it’s a tradition for them to come throughout the year and really get their favorite plants and produce that they’re really excited for,” says Malerba.
Malerba’s Farm has been a Norwich staple for over one hundred years. Vinnie Malerba, who is the Farm’s owner, has helped contribute to the long success of the farm and the traditions of the families who find happiness in this local business.
